Couple's Retreat, Gatlinburg, TN
October 2005
First Baptist Church of Whitsett, NC hosted Charlie and Paula of Crosspurpose International as their guest speakers during their annual couple's retreat in the beautiful mountain town of Gatlinburg, TN. Messages dealing with marriage from God's perspective and as well as music that worshipped the Lord were shared with both the men and women. It proved to be a time of rejuvination for married couples during this 3-day conference.
Comments from others who attended:
"Being in Gatlinburg and listening to Charlie Orr and his wife's testimony brought a renewed heart. To hear Paula's testimony and know how faithful my God is for us all, inspires me to live and share God's love to others.
Mrs. Orr helped me realize there is nothing that God can't bring me through. Her ministry through her music touched my heart in a very special way. I came away away singing God's praises and feeling very blessed."
"This past November we were once again blessed by the Lord to attend our Annual Marriage Retreat in one of God's most beautiful creations, the Great Smokey Mountains. Charlie preached from God's Word and showed us how to use the daily application of God's Word to apply to our personal lives but especially to our marriages. This year was especially great as God not only blessed us with this man of God, but also with Paula. We here at Whitsett have waited anxiously to meet and heart Paula sing. She was worth the wait. Paula has the light of the Lord on her face and the love of Him in her voice as she sings to honor and glorify Him. God truly blessed us with this couple and it is my prayer that He will continue to truly bless and use them for His glory."

Crosspurpose International is thankful that God continues to open doors of ministry that are led and empowered by Him. "Faithful is He who calleth you, who also will do it." I Thessalonians 5:24
"For the last 10 years we have been hosting a married couple's retreat every November in Gatlinburg. God has always showed up, and we've seen Him restore homes and save souls. Charlie and Paula were our honored guests this past fall. This meeting was one of our best. Paula has a sweet spriit and a beautiful voice. Charlie's preaching, as always, was powerful, practical and right from the Scriptures. Most of all, I appreciate their humility and friendship...their ministry will be a blessing to any church that's lookiing for someone "real".
